Rachel began her legal career in 2006 as a conveyancing assistant, where she quickly developed a passion for property law. From those early beginnings, she has built an impressive and diverse career spanning over 19 years. During this time, Rachel has gained extensive experience across both high street and national law firms, giving her a well-rounded understanding of the legal landscape and the varying needs of clients across different sectors.
Her commitment to professional development led her to qualify as a Licensed Conveyancer in 2016, enabling her to take on more complex and varied matters. Driven by a desire to broaden her legal capabilities and offer clients an even higher level of service, Rachel went on to cross-qualify as a Solicitor in 2025, the same year she joined BWS Law. This dual qualification allows her to approach conveyancing transactions with a unique blend of practical and technical expertise.
Rachel specialises in all areas of residential conveyancing, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, transfers of equity, re-mortgages, and new build transactions. In recent years, she has also expanded her practice to include commercial conveyancing, advising clients on the acquisition and disposal of freehold commercial premises. Her wide-ranging experience means she is well-equipped to handle transactions of all sizes and complexity.
What sets Rachel apart is her client-focused approach. She prides herself on being approachable, responsive, and proactive in her communication, keeping clients fully informed at every stage of the process. She understands that buying or selling a property can be a stressful experience, and she works diligently to ensure that transactions progress as smoothly and efficiently as possible. Her primary focus is always on protecting her clients’ interests while delivering clear, practical advice and solutions tailored to their individual needs.
Rachel’s long-standing dedication to the field of conveyancing, coupled with her calm, methodical manner and attention to detail, make her a trusted advisor for clients seeking guidance and support through their property journeys.
Outside of work, Rachel enjoys a busy family life. She is married with two young boys and enjoys spending time with them, particularly taking them to various sports clubs and activities. When she gets a moment to herself, she loves reading, travelling, and discovering new places with her family. Her personal life gives her a grounded, empathetic approach to her work—she understands the pressures and demands her clients may be facing and strives to make the legal side of their property journey as stress-free as possible.
