About Us

Bird Wilford & Sale undertook a rebrand in November 2024 becoming the firm now known as BWS Law. We are proud to offer comprehensive legal services to company commercial, public sector, and private clients in the East Midlands. We do also service clients nationally and internationally given the leaps in technology using Teams, Zoom etc.

Our firm is the amalgamation of the legacy firms of Bartlett Walters and Parry, founded in 1750, and Gardiner and Millhouse, founded in 1960. With the merger in 1980 to form Bird Wilford & Sale, we have built a rich history of providing expert legal advice and services to individuals and businesses alike. Our practice is based in Loughborough, where we continue to uphold our commitment to delivering tailored solutions and exceptional client care. 

In April 2025 BWS Law acquired prusinski solicitors and their entire team joined the BWS family.

We used BWS LAW SOLICITORS to resolve an issue with a persistent debt company who was wrongly accusing us of owing an outstanding bill. The debt belong to another person with the same name, however they wouldn’t acknowledge this and kept chasing us to pay the debt. Reanne got us in straight the way and was very helpful in resolving the issue for us. After her help dealing with this issue we had no further harassment from the debt company. GREAT SERVICE!

Claire was more than 5 stars , I have never had such a good experience of dealing with a solicitor when it comes to buying or selling a home. Having previously used Bird, Wilford & Sale previously, I thought I would contact them to draft my will. I was put in touch with Georgia Houghton, who from the outset has been extremely helpful. She is always on hand to answer any questions and is incredibly patient and understanding when explaining the process.
