BWS Law Announces Board Appointment for Chloe Shipley

BWS Law is delighted to announce that Chloe Shipley will be joining the Board of Directors with effect from 1st May.

This well-deserved promotion reflects Chloe’s outstanding contribution to the firm and marks an important step in our continued development and growth. Chloe has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to the firm’s success, and her appointment to the Board further strengthens our leadership team as we look to the future.

Alongside her board appointment, Chloe will also take on the role of Head of Family. This transition represents an exciting period for the Family team as we continue to build on our expertise and expand our offering.

Chloe has played a key role in shaping the firm’s marketing strategy, helping to modernise our approach and raise our profile. She has also led our successful involvement with the University of Leicester Law School Legal Advice Clinic, providing students with the opportunity to visit BWS and observe the delivery of legal advice on a pro bono basis. This initiative highlights the firm’s ongoing commitment to community engagement and supporting the next generation of legal professionals. Recently Chloe was recognised in the 2026 Pro Bono Recognition List for her work with the legal clinic.

In addition, Chloe has dedicated significant time to mentoring and training junior staff, contributing to a supportive culture across the firm.

As a director, Chloe will focus on further developing the firm’s corporate social responsibility programme. She will also take on the role of Training Principal, overseeing the development of our trainees and helping to shape the future of the firm.

Roy Rollings, Managing Director of BWS Law, commented:

“I am delighted to welcome Chloe to the Board. This is a thoroughly well-deserved promotion that recognises the energy, commitment and leadership she has shown since joining the firm. Chloe has already made a significant impact, from developing our marketing strategy to strengthening our links with the University of Leicester’s Legal Advice Clinic and supporting the growth of our people.

Her appointment comes at an important time for the firm as we continue to develop and expand, and I have no doubt she will play a key role in driving that growth. I look forward to working with her as she takes on her new responsibilities as both a director and Head of Family.”

We are proud to recognise Chloe’s achievements and look forward to seeing her continue to make a positive impact in her new roles.
