Nicola has worked in Commercial Property since the start of her Legal Career. During her training back in 2015 Nicola found her love for working in an area of law with vast scenarios and a breadth of legal issues. She has extensive local knowledge and thrives on working in familiar areas helping clients from starting new ventures to extending and broadening their business portfolios. Her approach in advising is both personable and practicable and no question is ever too much.
Nicola advises both Landlord and Tenants in Lease work, whether that be brand new ventures, assignments, or renewals. Away from Lease work Nicola offers expertise from sale and purchases of Commercial & Residential Properties to Loan Agreements and Personal Guarantees.
Besides work, Nicola is a keen and successful athlete. Nicola competes locally, nationally and internationally, winning races here in the UK but also overseas in Spain and Italy. Her love for running started at the age of 19 and after many years of training Nicola has gone on to win the Leicester City Marathon in 2018, 3rd place in the Boston (UK) Marathon 2023 and year on year qualifying as an elite runner to take part in the London Marathon. In 2023,2024 and 2025 Nicola has been selected to run and captain the ladies team representing Leicestershire and Rutland AA in the fell running championships.
When not running, Nicola enjoys spending time in the countryside with her two daughters, husband and collie dog. When not running or working Nicola loves to add more strings to her bow, obtaining qualifications in personal training, training clients with disabilities, the ‘Horseboy Method’ of horse riding with the disabled and Leadership in Running Fitness (LIRF). All in addition to her Bachelor of Laws degree and Master of Laws.
Using her personal successes and determination sure helps Nicola in her day-to-day work life, ensuring she puts everything in to each transaction.
